I LOVE baking. More than a box of chocolates and a bubble bath, a brand new pair of heels, the satisfaction of saying “I told you so” or even…even a front row seat at a Bret Michaels concert. I bake when I’m sad, especially when I’m angry and whenever I can find a reason to celebrate. Some people frequent therapy but I frequent my Kitchen Aid. I hope that the collection of recipes that are growing ever so slowly at the left of this paragraph provide my family and friends with the same satisfaction that they have given me. Since publishing my site a few days ago I’ve had an overwhelming response of love and encouragement and I THANK YOU very much for giving me that. I’ve been asked to kick up the gluten-free section and I promise to work on that right away. And more Tofu. I’m terrified of Tofu. But for you…for you I’ll do that. If there was a way to turn on a scent so that as you access the difference recipes, a unique and delicious scent would stream out through the keyboard, it would be perfect. Just a suggestion.
